Robert started working with hardwood floors in 1991, learning the craft from the ground up, one project at a time. By the time he founded Northwest Hardwood Flooring in 2008, he had already spent nearly two decades mastering every species, stain, subfloor condition, and finish on the market.
That experience shows in the details. The way a stair tread sits flush without a creak. The way a custom stain looks consistent from the entryway to the back bedroom. The way an old, worn floor comes back to life after a careful sanding and refinish.
Northwest Hardwood Flooring has completed over 1,000 floors across Chicagoland, in bungalows, new construction, historic homes, commercial spaces, and everything in between. Every single one is a project Robert takes personal pride in.
